Commercial photography sessions are focused on the product or service being represented, always showing them at their best, be it alone or in a context with models or accessories. Colour and texture accuracy is key to represent these items faithfully. This is the reason this kind of photographies are usually captured under the controlled variables of the studio. If this is not possible, be it for the nature of the product or the mood of the campaign, I take the studio with me to wherever you need it to be.
This kind of sessions usually involve a big crew and is important to work together to get optimum results. The advertising agency, the product designers, the stylists, the models and the photographer collaborate to make this happen. Coming from the advertising world I am used to work in this environment as a part of your main ad campaign or as a coordinator for smaller, image based campaigns guiding you on how to obtain the most impact out of a smaller investment.

Session info
The commercial photoshoots usually last between half a day and a full day, but they can also be just a couple of hours long. Usually shot inside my Genova studio for optimum results. It is also possible to shoot on location with the use of artificial lights as needed. But the hard work usually starts days before, with all the parties involved getting in contact to set the mood of the session always according to the client particular needs. During this period we will work together in setting the mood of the shoot and prepare for the particular characteristics of the different outputs needed, like images for billboards, ads or magazines.
The day of the session
How commercial shoots work vary widely depending on the product and client. I am prepared to receive the client in my Genova studio and shoot directly to a computer or through a local network and sending proof in real time to your iPad so I can get your feedback as we go.
My Genova studio has a kitchen with freezer, as well as a complete set of tools for any adjustment, but please ask beforehand if your product has some special needs.
If you are sending your items with a courier please check with me first so you know my availability.
After the session
All photos will generally be processed and lightly retouched of small imperfections. All my photos are delivered in colour unless you need them in black and white. Please note that heavier retouching is available at an extra fee.
It is possible to prepare the layout of the printing materials you need on request. This includes but is not limited to poster, flyer and catalogue design.
It is possible to deliver the photos in PSD format so you can work with your in-house retouchers. DNG files will only be handled to retouchers I have worked with previously, sorry for the inconvenience.
The photos will be delivered in digital format in a password protected gallery a few days after the session. This way you can share it with the people you want. I can also have the photos printed for you in different formats, like posters, catalogues or flyers.
