Backlighting: Vietnamese Springroll

Sometimes a pretty simple shot like this of a Vietnamese Springroll can get complicated because of production constraints. Shooting in an already packed kitchen it was not possible to mount a lighting table, so for this photograph I could only to use small equipment.
The lighting is pretty simple, a strobe behind the subject and a softbox at 45° angle as fill. For the backlight I placed on top of a kitchen table in order, a sheet of aluminium foil, two opposing strobes with a piece of aluminium foil on top of each head and two transparent perspex sheets with a white translucent paper sheet between them. With this I could achieve an evenly distributed light in such a small space. I placed the springroll on top and was ready to shoot.
